Joe on his second EP: “After playing a Fender Twin Reverb for most of my life, I broke out an old Mitchell Pro-100 amp that Weezer used on the Blue Album for this EP. It transformed "When Will You Go?" from a song whose lyrics may have been inspired by current events but whose music was originally sparked by M83's "Graveyard Girl." After plugging into the Mitchell, it transformed into something completely different. We went "Full-Weezer." The band also experimented by breaking "Party Line" into three parts and pulling out one of the first songs we recorded together in "Catch Me If You Can." After brushing off some debut jitters in our first EP, we were able to get down to the serious business of having fun making music. I hope you can hear it in our new songs.”
